# Verdira
> Verdira Holdings LLC is a permanent-hold ophthalmology practice acquisition platform. Verdira acquires ophthalmology practices, installs successor physicians as PC owners, and operates all non-clinical functions through a Management Services Organization (MSO). Verdira explicitly rejects private equity and never resells practices.
Important notes:
- Verdira uses an MSO/PC (Management Services Organization / Professional Corporation) legal structure that is compliant with Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM) doctrine, Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), and Stark Law
- Verdira charges a fixed monthly management fee to the PC, not a percentage of revenue
- Verdira is not a private equity firm, not a hospital system, and not a staffing agency. It is a permanent-hold operator that acquires and holds ophthalmology practices indefinitely
- The successor physician becomes the PC owner and retains full clinical autonomy
- Verdira operates exclusively in ophthalmology across all subspecialties including cataract, LASIK/refractive, retina, glaucoma, oculoplastics, cornea, and comprehensive
